It will be a real blue squadron, the one competing at the next junior alpine ski world championships, on the Canadian snows of Panorama.
The convocations of the 12 athletes who will play for the medals in a review are official, the one scheduled from 1 to 9 March next, again "complete" after last year's revamped one in Bansko, when however great satisfactions arrived starting from '' gold and silver conquered by Giovanni Franzoni between super-g and giant. The 2001 class from Brescia, current leader of the general classification of the European Cup (and already winner of the super-g classification), will be the beacon of the Italian expedition and with him there will be six other men, including his peers Filippo Della Vite, who aims strong above all on the giant, Simon Talacci and two growing slalomists like Tommaso Saccardi and Gianlorenzo Di Paolo, but also on the even younger Marco Abbruzzese (born in 2002) and Gregorio Bernardi (2004).
Instead, five girls have been selected and among these there will be Sophie Mathiou, champion in charge of the slalom and among the main favorites, after having already gained experience in the World Cup, but together with Beatrice Sola herself, already one step away from the podium in the Cup Europe and one year younger (born in 2003) than her teammate.
Also summon the other 2002 Annette Belfrond, Alice Calaba and Vicky Bernardi, who did so much good in the speed season.
