The US federation has announced the cadres of the national team for the next year: no particular surprise, even Steven Nyman will continue his career, inserted in a quality "A" team.

42 US skiers will be part of the stars and stripes teams for the 2022/23 vintage.
The choices made by the new director of alpine skiing in the USA, Patrick Riml, who returns to the helm after the first seven-year cycle, concluded in 2018, and the last adventure in Austria are official. The separation with a technician of proven experience and quality like Forest Carey, a real institution that the US Ski Team has lost, has made noise in recent days, not without discontent among the same athletes who, in a public way, have expressed your own disappointment.
There are ten athletes included in the main line-up, team A which does not present great surprises: Mikaela Shiffrin, fresh from the fourth World Cup, is the reference point with Breezy Johnson, expected to return after the knee injury costing the participation at the Olympic Games to the sprinter born in 1996, and as far as technical disciplines are concerned, a further leap in quality is expected from Nina O''Brien and Paula Moltzan.
Six men, with Ryan Cochran-Siegle who will aim definitely high like River Radamus, who has grown a lot in the 2021/22 season, Tommy Ford ready for the real competitive comeback after the attempt made for the Olympics, and in the speed sector with Bryce Bennett, winner in Val Gardena, Travis Ganong and the eternal Steven Nyman, who will therefore continue his career.
Team B which includes 9 women: these are the promoted (by team D) Allie Resnick, Lauren Macuga and the worlds medal jr Ava Sunshine Jemison, in addition to Keely Cashman, AJ Hurt, Alice Merryweather, Jacqueline Wiles, Alix Wilkinson and Isabella Wright . Eight men: Erik Arvidsson, Kyle Negomir, Bridger Gile, Jared Goldberg, Jett Seymour, Ben Ritchie, Isaiah Nelson and Luke Winters.
In the "C", Katie Hensien and Zoe Zimmermann for women, Jay Poulter, Camden Palmquist and Cooper Puckett for men, finally the "D" with the very young Elisabeth Bocock, Mary Bocock, Kaitlin Keane, Kjersti Moritz, Storm Klomhaus , Emma Resnick, Dasha Romanov, Justin Bigatel, Ryder Sarchett and Jack Smith.
