Everything according to forecasts, with Marcel Hirscher leading the Wunderteam, waiting to formalize the continuation of his career at the usual summer press conference.
The names of the members of an Austrian team were announced, who, behind his point of reference, proposed another nine men in the national team: they are the slalomgigantisti Marco Schwarz, expected to come back after the knee injury he suffered in the season finale for Bansko, Manuel Feller, Michael Matt and Christian Hirschbuehl, and sprinters Max Franz (also recovering after the Kitzbuehel crash), Vincent Kriechmayr, Matthias Mayer, Hannes Reichelt (involved in the past few hours in the '' operation Aderlass on the doping front) and Otmar Striedinger.
In team A, however, we find rising sprinters like Christian Walder, Christoph Krenn and Daniel Danklmaier, as well as Dominik Raschner, Marc Digruber, Stefan Brennsteiner and Stefan Babinsky.
In the women's sector, Anna Veith is regularly listed, called to the umpteenth renaissance after the knee injury last January; with the Salzburg team, in the national team there are the returning Stephanie Brunner, Cornelia Huetter and Katharina Gallhuber, in addition to Eva-Maria Brem, Ricarda Haaser, Katharina Liensberger, Mirjam Puchner, Bernadette Schild, Nicole Schmidhofer, Ramona Siebenhofer, Tamara Tippler, Katharina Truppe and Stephanie Venier.
