The only candidate, the 52-year-old former coach of the national alpine ski teams, succeeds Anne-Chantal Pigelet-Grévy in the seat of number 1.

No surprise, on Saturday the long-awaited election of Fabien Saguez as the new president of SBB, the French ski federation, arrived.
The former technical director of alpine skiing in the transalpine home for 16 years (from 2006 to 2022), was the only candidate for the most prestigious role in the federation, assigned to him during the general assembly of Dijon.
Saguez, in office for the next four-year Olympic period, takes over from Anne-Chantal Pigelet-Grévy, who lived through a decidedly troubled presidential era and has been a new member of the FIS council since last week.
The new president, born in 1970, has lived a high profile career both at executive level and, in particular, in the technical field with various coaching roles in the SBB led by Michel Vion who, once he left the seat of number 1 of his own federation, he became general secretary of the FIS.
