After the Australian New Zealand Cup races, the official appointments at FIS level continue at Coronet Peak, with the two today's giants valid for the New Zealand national championships.
Titles that went to Willis Feasey and Piera Hudson, the favorites of the eve, with a double second place overall: among the men, Ian Gut won, able to precede the landlord by 39 cents, with the young Norwegian Andreas Amdahl who is confirmed with a good 3rd place ahead of Andreas Zampa. Fifteenth place for Vittorio De Pieri, who is disputing the entire block of races in the southern hemisphere.
At the female level, first place in the FIS giant for Elise Hitter, Swiss class 2000 who burned Piera Hudson for 8 cents, while two other Swiss, Lara Baumann and Elena Stoffel, shared third place with a delay of 1 "06 from the winning compatriot.
Friday everyone back on track at Coronet Peak with two other giants at FIS level, then it will be slalom time on the weekend.
