Finally ... Alice! Robinson's first victory (after the material change), Zampa's revenge

At Coronet Peak the giants who close the appointment of the Australian New Zealand Cup, with the Americans Sunshine and Hensien beaten by the hostess. In La Parva the first downhill tests (with many young Austrians) in view of tonight's races that will open the speed season in South America.

Alice Robinson's first win of the season, after a third place in super-g and the exits in the other two races disputed by the 2001 class on the home snow. On the fourth and last occasion of the long Coronet Peak event, the New Zealander imposes herself in the second consecutive giant scheduled for the Australian New Zealand Cup circuit: it is the first success with the new material (Salomon) chosen by Robinson to restart after the many difficulties in the 2021/22 vintage, in an already good race with the American Sunshine, again second (at 49 cents), and Hensien (+ 0 ”51) completing the podium. Rematch also in the men's race for the Zampa brothers, with Andreas beating Isaiah Nelson by just 16 cents, after the young USA had imposed himself in the giant of 24 hours earlier, while Adam Zampa is third at 32 cents, keeping Timon off the podium Haugan (4th, yesterday he finished 2nd) and Ian Gut, still fifth as in race-1. Out in the 2nd heat the only blue registered, Vittorio De Pieri. In La Parva, in Chile, here are the double downhill tests in view of the first seasonal speed races for the South American Cup, scheduled for the Italian evening (with two women's and two men's descents). On the track many young Austrians seen at a high level in the last season of the European Cup, even if the best time in the first training was signed by the Canadian Stefanie Fleckenstein (already a discreet protagonist in the World Cup), preceding Sabrina Maier, Vanessa Nussbaumer and Lena Wechner. Maier who then preceded all of them in the second round, with Fleckenstein second and Tricia Mangan third. At the men's level, German double in the first round with Christoph Brence and Jacob Schramm, ahead of Henrik Von Appen and Cyprien Sarrazin. The transalpine then took the second time in the bis test, between Schramm (1st) and Brence (3rd).
