Van Orton's decided, inimitable and pop trait opens the ski racing season with a very personal reinterpretation of France's racing suits: mountains, snow, the French flag and the ever-present cockerel were the inspiration for the Van Orton twins who designed a funny and design suit after the capsule collection presented at Ispo and in stores this winter season. The unmistakable style of the bright colors of the French flag, framed by the thick and black tract are dedicated to the suits of the alpine disciplines and skicross of the team that just last year in Val D'Isere renewed its commitment with Colmar until 2021. #lesbleuspop is the # for this project. Van Orton Design for those who do not know it is the stage name of Marco and Stefano Schiavon, born in 1983, twins of Rivoli, sons of digital and great music lovers who interpret, with their drawings, their great passion: the legendary 80s. With iconic films like "Back to the future" and "Gremlins", they have depopulated on the web and started working with international brands, from discography to design. With Colmar for the next winter they begin their adventure in sportswear giving life to a limited and numbered edition of garments with a strong impact. A new and different challenge for Stefano and Marco for whom "Working with Colmar was really an enormous opportunity, especially because it allowed us to experiment a new kind of approach to our creative method. applying the geometries directly on predefined sections instead of on a white sheet plate ". With a visual aesthetic strongly Eighties the result was a tribute to the iconic symbols of Colmar, all in pop version.
