Not even the time to conclude the Zagreb race that the men's World Cup will resume on Friday, with the first of the two giants scheduled in the Adelboden temple (the second on Saturday). There are nine blues called up by the director Roberto Lorenzi for the double challenge at Chuenisbargli: after the disappointment on the Gran Risa, Luca De Aliprandini will seek redemption, who caressed his dream of his first career victory in Switzerland, exiting in the second heat when he still had the best chrono.
The Trentino will lead a national team with the confirmation of the 2001 class Giovanni Franzoni and Filippo Della Vite, in the second and third races in the CdM after the debut in Badia; there will be, just like last December 20 in what was the fourth seasonal specialty event, also Giovanni Borsotti, Stefano Baruffaldi, Alex Hofer, Roberto Nani, Hannes Zingerle and Riccardo Tonetti, the best on the Gran Risa with the 11th final place. And the player from Bolzano will make three of a kind by taking part in next Sunday's slalom, where there will also be the seven Azzurri protagonists today in Croatia, namely Stefano Gross, Federico Liberatore, Simon Maurberger, Manfred Moelgg, Giuliano Razzoli, Tommaso Sala and obviously Alex Vinatzer.
The eight protagonists of the women's Italjet arrived today in St. Anton, who have worked in the last days in Santa Caterina Valfurva to prepare the descent and the super-g scheduled for Saturday and Sunday on the “Karl Schranz”. Thursday the first test with Marta Bassino, Federica Brignone, Elena Curtoni, Nadia Delago, Sofia Goggia, Francesca Marsaglia, Roberta Melesi and Laura Pirovano on the track, while Verena Gasslitter will not be there as well as, obviously, the convalescent Nicol Delago.
