Just over two weeks to the opening of the World Cup on the Rettenbach: a lot of work in the gym in the last few days for Goggia and Bassino, now the finishing touches.

Soelden is approaching and the blue giants, both in the women's sector, with the girls who will be competing on Saturday 23 October for the first appointment on the Rettenbach, and the men protagonists on Sunday 24 in the opening in Oetztal. The last training sessions between Saas-Fee, which was in fact the basis of the work for the national team, without the possibility of flying to South America, and now between Hintertux and Val Senales, alternate with sessions in the gym, to which they have dedicated themselves in recent days Marta Bassino and Sofia Goggia, while Federica Brignone has carried out athletic tests in the past few hours at the Mapei center together with the slalomists. The multi-purpose group (without Laura Pirovano) will continue training on the snow in Hintertux until Friday 8, the girls of group "B", with Ilaria Ghisalberti, who made her debut in CdM right in Soelden 12 months ago, on the track with her companions from today and until 12 October in Saas-Fee. The men's World Cup groups were instead divided between Peer, with the slalomists in the Belgian skidome until last weekend, and Saas-Fee where the sprinters led by Dominik Paris held another meeting and, until Sunday 3 October , the quartet of the giant that will form the base of the leading team on the Rettenbach.
