Grand finale in Folgaria with Tschurtschenthaler winner in slalom: all the results of the Italian GP

The South Tyrolean beats Haller and Perruchon at the FIS race level; for Federico Liberatore, restart from the giant and double on the snows of Kronplatz.

The block of FIS races organized by the Alpe Cimbra Ski Team ended in Folgaria, with today's women's slalom, also valid for the Italian Grand Prix circuit for the young and aspiring categories, which awarded Vera Tschurtschenthaler. The young South Tyrolean, in excellent condition in this first part of the season, beat Celina Haller by 27 cents with Martina Perruchon third in half a second, while the very young Beatrice Sola from Trentino finished at the foot of the podium. The ranking of the young category saw Emilia Mondinelli prevail, eighth at the finish, with Maria Sole Antonini (in ninth absolute position) in second place and Lisa Rodari (tenth) in third. For the aspiring unchanged the first two positions compared to the young category, the prerogative of Antonini and Rodari, while the third place went to Ambra Pomare (fourteenth at the finish). At the male level, the results of Federico Liberatore in the two days of the giant at Kronplatz should be emphasized: the rider from Fassa, affected also this year by back problems, dominated by winning the first race with a 1 ”23 margin over the Swedish Axel Lindqvist and of 1 ”27 on the Israeli Barnabas Szollos, before repeating himself in front of Szollos and Manuel Ploner.
