The seven blues for Flachau with Moelgg's last, eleven called up for the women's competitions in Are

Wednesday the penultimate slalom of the World Cup, between Friday and Saturday instead the technical competitions for women with Italy without Curtoni (preparing the finals) and with the confirmation of Zenere for the giant, while Brignone and Bassino will also compete between the narrow poles.

Flachau will return to host a men's CdM slalom, after the "double" of 2021 with the two recoveries on the "Hermann Maier Weltcup Strecke", for the night challenge on Wednesday 9 March (17.45-20.45) which is valid, also in this case, as recovery of the missed race in Zagreb. There will be seven blues on the track and it will clearly be a special slalom for Manfred Moelgg, in the last performance of his career. Alongside the "captain" of the national team, we will see Giuliano Razzoli, Alex Vinatzer, Stefano Gross, Federico Liberatore, Simon Maurberger and Tommaso Sala. Appointment instead fixed for Friday 11 (also in this case, under the lights of the spotlight with the 1st heat at 15.00 and the second at 18.00) with the giant of Are, before the slalom which will close the two days in the Swedish town on Saturday. Eleven Italian athletes called: among the wide gates, Elena Curtoni will be missing compared to Lenzerheide, resting in view of the Courchevel-Méribel finals, for the rest confirmed Federica Brignone, Marta Bassino, Roberta Melesi, Karoline Pichler, Asja Zenere (in the second appearance in CdM) and Roberta Midali. In the slalom the next morning, it will be up to Celina Haller, who thus returns to the maximum circuit, Anita Gulli, Lara Della Mea, Marta Rossetti and Vera Tschurtschenthaler, to whom will be added Brignone and Bassino who will therefore compete in both tests.
