The Germans dominate at Copper Mountain, national downhill titles for Goldberg and Johnson

In the competitions of the US championships, Baumann and Ferstl already demonstrate excellent condition when thinking about the World Cup. And Jacqueline Wiles also sees herself.

Four high-level descents, for another day of the US national championships, on the snow of Copper Mountain, which saw several World Cup athletes as protagonists. Like Romed Baumann and Josef Ferstl, leader of the German team together with Thomas Dressen, who decided to fly to Colorado to compete in these FIS tests which are also valid for the US titles. The veteran who left Austria starting last season, won the first descent valid also for the national championship which went to Jared Goldberg, third overall behind Baumann and Ferstl (only 2 cents each from '' other) and able to precede Ryan Cochran-Siegle by 24 cents, still silver as in giant behind Radamus, and by over 7 tenths Erik Arvidsson. In the second descent, Ferstl instead clearly preceded Baumann, 67 cents away, with German poker as Manuel Schmid finished in third place and Simon Jocher in fourth.
