The national teams have been made official, with eight men (with the expected return of Osborne-Paradis) and seven women.

Canada has also chosen the athletes who will be part of the World Cup group on a permanent basis towards the 2020/2021 season.
There are fifteen members of the main team; perhaps a real leader is missing, but the options to bring home quality results are there, with Erik Read and Trevor Philp called to lead the team in the technical disciplines, while Manuel Osborne-Paradis will try to return after the serious injury of a year and half ago right on the home track, in Lake Louise. In speed, attention is also paid to Cameron Alexander, a growing young man like Brodie Seger, as well as Broderick Thompson, James Crawford and Jeffrey Read.
There are seven women on the team: Marie-Michèle Gagnon will go in search of the redemption season, as will the team's most anticipated slalomist, Erin Mielzynski, who will team up again with Laurence St-Germain. Ali Nullmeyer grows visibly, promoted in the CdM group to complete the team that will also count on Roni Remme, excellent combined specialist, Valerie Grenier and Amelia Smart.
Alpine Canada has created, behind the "Select Group" to try to get to the World Cup, the Next Gen Program for the growth of its young people.
