There will be a lot of Italy, also this year, in the provisional calendars of the 2022/23 European Cup.
38 races for women are scheduled, with 18 fast trials (9 descents and 9 super-gs) and 20 techniques (10 giants and 10 slalom), without combined and parallel races. The start scheduled in Mayrhofen, Austria (no start in Scandinavia also next season), on 28 and 29 November with giant and slalom, then Switzerland and Italy in December with the two very confirmed slaloms in Valle Aurina, on 8-9 December, followed by the classic giants of Andalo (13-14 of the month). And from 19 to 21 December, closing of the year with two descents and a super-g on “La VolatA” in Passo San Pellegrino.
Restart only in mid-January with three fast races in Zauchensee and the two now traditional slaloms in Hasliberg; in the middle, the junior world championships in St. Anton, scheduled from 17 to 25 January (naturally also for the men's sector).
On 27-28 January the resumption of the European Cup with the slalom of Vaujany, we will remain in France for the Chatel descents and here again Italy with Val Sarentino and its historic stage, for the two super-gs on 6-7 February , before Maribor, Crans-Montana, Gaellivare and a couple of places to be defined. The finals in Narvik (13-19 March, same dates as the last act of CdM in Soldeu), just defeated by the candidacy for the 2027 Senior World Cup.
On the other hand, there are 36 men's competitions on the calendar, 9 for each specialty (also in this case without combined and parallel): start on 1-2 December in Gurgl, with the two giants in the Austrian town, then those of Zinal preceded, however , from the two super-gs of Santa Caterina Valfurva, with the “Deborah Compagnoni” who will still have her fast races on 6-7 December.
Obereggen and Pozza di Fassa will host the first two slaloms as per tradition, on 15 and 16 December, then the descents of Sankt Moritz to close in 2022. Wengen (double super-g) on 6-7 January will precede the encore of Tarvisio, with the "Di Prampero" again on the calendar with two descents on 12 and 13 January. Double slalom in Berchtesgaden before the Junior World Championships in St. Anton, at the end of January instead the classic three fast races of Orcières-Merlette.
Between February and March, three locations to be defined, with the certainty of the two giants of Folgaria (6-7 February), in addition to the slalom of Jaun. In March the men will also go up to Gaellivare for two giants, with the grand finale in Narvik.
