We are moving towards a World Cup final, weather permitting the finals given what happened last year in Lenzerheide, finally without too many hitches and a complete program.
Today the FIS officially confirmed the last races of the season, with the snow control set first in Kranjska Gora, for the male giants of 12-13 March on Podkoren (they will be the sixth and seventh seasonal specialty rounds, with Marco Odermatt one step away also from the disciplinary cup after having dominated last year in the Slovenian town), scheduled at 9.30 and 12.30 for the two heats on both days of competition, then in Courchevel-Méribel for the finals of the maximum circuit.
In France, where the next world championships will be staged in February 2023, the first of the two downhill tests will start on Monday 14 March, for both the women's and men's sectors, the second training on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 here. the two descents, with the men opening at 10.00 and Sofia Goggia in search of the third crystal ball in the last specialty competition set at 11.30.
Inversion, as per tradition, for the super-g on Thursday 17, with the women on the track at 10.00 and the men at 11.30; Friday 18th the team event, useful only in terms of ranking by nations, and finally the technical races. Saturday 19th the men's giant (1st round at 9.00, the second at 12.00), followed by the women's slalom (10.30-13.30). Sunday 20 the female giant that opens the program, with the 1st heat at 9.00 and the 2nd at 12.00, and the men's slalom closing (10.30-13.30).
