Tiziana Candoni's idea for a FISI to support the student athlete: "Integration between sport and fundamental school"

A professional in the world of sports and schools, since 2000 she has created and coordinated the project of the high school of winter disciplines in Tarvisio: today she is a candidate for councilor in the Federation.

Objective? Implement the integration and inclusion of educational activities in support of sports programs for the training protection of the athlete in defense of the right to study. Tiziana Candoni takes to the track, she who 22 years ago created, developed and coordinated the project of the Tarvisio Winter Sports High School to date, making a public school an ideal environment for the personal and sporting growth of young athletes. Today she is a candidate as a councilor in FISI, with "clear and concrete ideas about the integration between the world of sport and school". The fundamental concept on which Tiziana Candoni's thinking is based is the following: "I am convinced that the school can have all the tools, dictated by school autonomy, to be able to embrace the needs of the sports world for the benefit of students who have always been clamoring to comply with the right not to have to choose between school and high-profile sport. The conjugation between school and federations must have absolute respect for the parties, involving competent people with well-defined federal roles, capable of creating such a balance between the parties as to brighten the educational path of the children and their families ". Candoni is deeply convinced that school and sport train life and in Tarvisio she managed to combine the life of the School with the federal life of a club, enabling her students / athletes to obtain excellent sporting results in the various specialties (such as Mattia Casse in the alpine skiing and Mara Martini in skialp) maintaining the opportunity to also complete their high school studies. "I believe it is essential that the Federation establish a constant relationship with the Ministry of Education to optimize courses and implement guidelines for schools and universities in which valuable athletes study, but also to facilitate a sporting path for young people and children . We must do it in concert with all the CONI Federations. Another goal will be to study ways to raise the 25% absences bonus ceiling which currently does not solve the problem of our young athletes. The FISI and the Federations must put themselves at the service of the school and the clubs. It takes a marriage, a healthy complicity, where the school must be an integral part of a training path. It can be done, because in what was my school we did it. Coaches and physical trainers who are part of the class council, teachers in constant dialogue with the technical staff to favor the perfect integration of children between school and sport in support of a harmonious growth of the training path of young students. We will knock on the new government because the time has come to give a voice to the young agonists who at each return to school must justify the effort and commitment that some teachers confuse with a continuous vacation. WHO IS TIZIANA CANDONI First athlete, ski instructor, 3rd level federal coach, 4 mandates equal to 10 years in the school's FISI Commission, creator of one of the first Ski Colleges in Italy, exercise science teacher for 40 years. The curriculum is clear: Tiziana Candoni is a woman who knows what she is talking about because she has experienced it firsthand in all its forms. Actually inserted professional with experience both in the world of schools / institutions and of federal skiing, he knows these two worlds well, school and FISI, because he lived them as an athlete, technician, manager, wife of a blue technician and mother of three athletes. His world has always been school, bread and FISI. "I want to help this world to grow, evolve, to meet the needs of athletes".
