The Austria of alpine skiing presents itself in view of the 2022/23 season, with an authentic battleship also in numerical terms to seek decidedly better results in the World Cup, given that the last year was well below expectations and, not surprisingly, there has been a real revolution on a technical level in both sectors.
There are 61 men among the 4 organized teams: the main one, the "national team", is made up of 14 athletes starting from the two world champion Vincent Kriechmayr, passing through the three-time Olympic gold medalist, Matthias Mayer, top of the team speed that also counts on Max Franz, Daniel Danklmaier (who was seriously injured in recent weeks), Daniel Hemetsberger and Raphael Haaser, with specialists in the technical disciplines who respond to the names of Marco Schwarz, Stefan Brennsteiner, Michael Matt, Adrian Pertl, the two Olympic champion Johannes Strolz, Manuel Feller, Dominik Raschner and Christian Hirschbuehl.

In team A there are 18 names: ranging from Stephanie Brunner to Stephanie Venier, called to get back on top after the last complicated years, to the winner of the European Cup, Franziska Gritsch, another slalomist like Katharina Gallhuner, in addition to Christina Ager , Nina Astner, Ricarda Haaser, Nadine Fest, Lisa Grill, Michaela Heider, Elisabeth Kappaurer, Chiara Mair, Elisa Moerzinger, Ariane Raedler, Elisabeth Reisinger, Julia Scheib, Rosina Schneeberger and Marie-Therese Sporer.
