The FIS confirms the changes to the calendar: Lech is saved, only the women competing in Levi

We are moving towards the definition of the "new" World Cup 2020/21, with official status expected on 3 October. The return of Davos to the maximum circuit has been moved by one year.

A puzzle that is about to be completed, for the calendars of an Alpine Ski World Cup that the FIS is reviewing due to the situation linked to Covid that forces the various organizing committees to adapt to increasingly stringent measures. The will of the International Federation is to unite as much as possible races of the same disciplines in one place, in order to limit the movements and also the "crossings" between the male and female circuit as much as possible. So today, at the end of the meeting held in video conference, it was decided that, after the opening in Soelden (17-18 October) and the weekend of the parallel confirmed in Lech-Zuers, with the women competing November 13th and men on November 14th (without team event, but with double individual competition)
