The 37 races have been confirmed for both the women's and men's circuits, with ten events on the Italian snow and the long-awaited start on the Rettenbach in Soelden on 23-24 October.

The FIS council meeting online has ratified the 2021/22 World Cup calendar, already defined in the spring congress and confirmed in full, with the news concerning above all the distribution of competitions by specialty, with the new balance between fast and technical races, or 18 each for both women and men.
As in the previous season, no combinations have been entered and there will be only one parallel in mid-November in Lech / Zuers. The start of course in Soelden, with the giants returning to the classic location of October 23-24, as well as flying again, after a year of absence due to Covid-19, towards the North American trip. In the women's field, there will be a total of 37 races, distributed between nine giants, nine slalom, nine descents, nine super giants and one parallel (in addition to the team event of the Courchevel Méribel finals which is valid only for the ranking by nations).
The Italian mountains will be the protagonists in January, with the return of the weekend of speed (a descent and a super-g) in Cortina d''Ampezzo, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 January 2022, in addition to the now classic giant of Kronplatz, on Tuesday January 25.
Identical numbers for the men too, who will compete in eight giants, ten slaloms, eleven descents, seven supergiants and one parallel. Four Italian appointments with seven overall races: super-g and downhill in Val Gardena, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 December on the Saslong, the novelty of the two giants in Alta Badia on Sunday 19 and Monday 20 December, slalom in Madonna di Campiglio on Wednesday 22 and descent + super-g in Bormio on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th December.
Some small changes on the program regarding Kitzbuehel and Wengen, the great classics of January where two descents will be disputed instead of a descent and a super-g, with the Lauberhorn combined definitively put aside.
