France is ready to return to South America: women in Ushuaia, sprinters in La Parva

Are we going back to South America? Apparently this will be the case for most of the major national teams with the World Cup groups who, between late summer and early autumn, should finally return to Argentina and Chile to prepare for the new season, after having lived "home" preparation in 2020 and 2021, obviously due to travel restrictions related to Covid. The “Ski Chrono” portal reports the words of Lionel Pellicier, new director of the women's teams, and David Chastan, historical head of the men's group: “The project is ready, we will do everything to go there while remaining vigilant about the situation”. The preparation on the snow will begin among the French glaciers, namely Val d''Isère (on the Pisaillas, at the Col de l''Iseran), Tignes and Les Deux Alpes, as well as taking advantage of the Swiss ones, Saas-Fee and Zermatt. The idea is to fly to Argentina for women's groups, both for technical disciplines and for speed, in September on the snows of Cerro Castor, the Ushuaia area which is the "heart" of the Argentine trip. The men, on the other hand, will share with the slalomgigantisti (but also the "B" group of sprinters), led by the Olympic champion Clément Noel and Alexis Pinturault, also flying to Ushuaia, and Chile for the sprinters of the group principal of CdM, with Johan Clarey point of reference for what will probably be his last year with the World Cup at home, which will prepare in La Parva.
