The response of the FISI after the ko in court with Kappa: "Wrong and illegitimate reasons"

After what was decided yesterday by the Court of Milan, which overturned the first sentence preventing the Federation from a new supply and sponsorship agreement for clothing, via Piranesi announces "the use of legal instruments to see their own reasons ".

The case involving Kappa, through the owner of the BasicItalia brand, and the International Winter Sports Federation, as we wrote in the past few hours, experienced a turning point with the sentence of the Court of Milan which, in short, obliges the FISI not to conclude agreements for the next four-year Olympic period with third parties, in this specific case Giorgio Armani Spa whose offer had been matched by the Turin brand, which had asserted its right of first refusal as per the previously agreed contract. In the morning today, the reply from via Piranesi to this decision arrived, with a press release that we report in full. "We refer to the dispute initiated by Basic Italia (Kappa) against the FISI for the non-renewal of the supply and sponsorship contract - reads the press release - As is known, an appeal was also filed by Basic Italia during the trial on the merits for an urgent measure, which the same judge having jurisdiction in the judgment on the merits rejected, giving full reason to the FISI. Appealed by Basic against the decision on the emergency measure, the appellate judge reformed the decision for reasons that the Federation considers manifestly erroneous and illegitimate. Certain of the correctness of its actions, the Federation, refraining from useless proclamations and public comments, will proceed with the use of the instruments of law and at the competent offices to have its reasons reaffirmed, in compliance with the rules and procedures in force ".
