Few athletes, but top level riders trusting in the return to the highest levels of Ilka Stuhec. This is the mission of the Slovenian Federsci for the 2019/2020 season, after having presented the staff with only 12 elements (6 men and 6 women) in the World Cup groups, even though Ilka Stuhec will work directly with their own personal team. There remains the doubt linked to Ana Drev, the expert gigantist injured during the last season (in January the anterior cruciate ligament of the right knee was broken in training) and, at 34, she has not yet decided whether to stop with the 'competitive spirit. Should it decide to continue, the federation has already confirmed that it would be included in the national women's team led by the new entry Janez Slivnik, the former Austrian gigantist technician who returns to Slovenia to fill the role of head coach of a team that proposes the star Meta Hrovat (class '98, junior world champion in slalom and already constantly in the top 20 between CdM giant and slalom), flanked by Tina Robnik, Neja Dvornik and the now expert Marusa Ferk and Ana Bucik. At the male level, there is the division between technical disciplines, with only Stefan Hadalin and Zan Kranjec, who in the last season got away well in both slalom and giant, and sprinters with Bostjan Kline awaiting redemption, side by side by Martin Cater, Klemen Kosi and Miha Hrobat.
