The two-day U.S. Dolomitica-Fiamme Gialle ended with the seals of the 2000 South Tyrolean class and the twenty-one year old from Abruzzo.

The 21-year-old neo-financier Gianlorenzo Di Paolo quickly redeems yesterday's exit in race 1, taking a nice victory in today's FIS slalom, valid for the “Paolo Varesco Trophy”, staged on the snows of Pampeago.
Second in the middle of the race behind the winner of Monday's test, Stefano Gross (then finished 11th), Di Paolo secured the final victory by preceding the Austrians Ralph Seidler (+ 0 "24) on the podium, protagonist of a great comeback from 20 ^ partial place with the best time in the second run, and Jokob Greber, who confirms the result of the first descent finishing third at 54 cents from the winner.
Nearly the podium, just 4 cents away, the standard bearer of the C.S. Benjamin Jacques Alliod army, while the South Tyrolean carabiniere Hannes Zingerle ranked fifth. Marco Abbruzzese 6th, Andrea Ballerin 7th, Manuel Ploner 8th, Edoardo Saracco 9th and Alex Hofer 10th complete the top 10.
The women's slalom was instead conquered by the 21-year-old from Val Casies, Laura Steinmair, good at climbing from the third partial position to the highest step of the podium, preceding the Austrian Sophia Waldauf with the important gap of 1 "41, who repeats so the second place yesterday, while in third place we find, 1 ”48 behind the winner, the Slovenian Nika Tomsic.
At the foot of the podium, escaped by 7 cents, we find the carabiniera Emma Wieser then followed by the Dutch Kiara Derks 5th, the Slovenian Anja Oplotnik 6 ^, the Austrian Sarah Plantl 7 ^, the American Stella Johansson 8 ^, the “Fiamma Gialla” Francesca Fanti 9th ahead of the Swiss Svenja Pfiffiner who completes the top ten. At the end of today's race the “Mario Deflorian Trophy” was also awarded, by adding the FIS points of the two slaloms, to the best man and the best woman of the special combined classification. To win in the men was Hannes Zingerle, while in the women the cup went to the Austrian Sophia Waldauf.
