Two guides confirmed as references in the women's sector and many new features in the men's technical department.
All according to forecasts, on the day of the announcement of the national blue, male and female, for the 2019/2020 season.
With the sporting director Massimo Rinaldi confirmed as coordinator of all the Alpine skiing teams, the first announcement that leaps to the eye is the farewell with Alessandro Serra, head of the gigantists who was "cut" after only one year from his return to Fisi, decidedly disappointing considering the results obtained by the Azzurri among the wide doors. Then the Piedmontese Roberto Saracco as the new leader of De Aliprandini and his companions, while Jacques Theolier (who had already announced the signing of a three-year contract with the federation) returns to train the slalomists and the Trentino Roberto Lorenzi becomes the new technical director of the sector of technical specialties.
Alberto Ghidoni of course remains the speed dt, and here is the other substantial change concerning the composition of the teams, given that Dominik Paris and Christof Innerhofer form the pair (as in the women's sector with Goggia and Brignone, in that case already from last season) of the new Elite World Cup group.
For the speed sector, the World Cup group with only Peter Fill and Emanuele Buzzi, while Matteo Marsaglia and Mattia Casse are part of the A2 group. As for the technical specialties, five men in the main World Cup team: these are De Aliprandini, Tonetti and the veterans Gross, Moelgg and Razzoli. In group A2, we find Ballerin, Borsotti, Hannes Zingerle, Vinatzer, Sala, Maurberger and Liberatore, with Bacher inserted in the "national interest" group with Giulio Bosca, Ronci, Sorio and Zazzi.
The situation in the women's sector varies considerably less than 12 months ago: Gianluca Rulfi, already in charge of the Elite World Cup group with Goggia and Brignone (always followed by the trainer Marcello Tavola and the skimans Brunelli and Sbardellotto) and Daniele Simoncelli coach , he became technical director of the entire female sector, but the equally important confirmation is that of Matteo Guadagnini (in the odor of passing to the male sector in recent weeks) as head of the slalom sector, to be relaunched with a group of young people alongside the veteran Irene Curtoni, who had already dissolved the reservation on the continuation of her career for at least another year in recent weeks. Together with the Valtellina, Della Mea, Insam, Midali, Gulli, Peterlini and Rossetti will be in the team.
The most substantial group of the World Cup is always that of the multipurpose, with Giovanni Feltrin technical manager of descent and super-g and Paolo Deflorian inserted as guide of the gigantistas: we find Bassino, Elena Curtoni, the sisters Nicol and Nadia Delago and Elena and Nadia Fanchini, Marsaglia, Pichler, Pirovano, Melesi and Schnarf waiting to return after the injury as Gasslitter.
