Argentine skiing and the Bergamo community in mourning: Mario, progenitor of the Simari Birkner, has died

The father of Cristian Javier, Macarena, Maria Belén and Angelica, left us, protagonists in the world of snow thanks to the incredible work of a special family. On Monday the funeral in Barzesto, where Mario Simari had lived for years.

A very serious mourning struck a symbol of Argentine skiing, but also of a community like the one from Bergamo that had welcomed him with open arms. Mario Simari passed away today, the progenitor of the Simari Birkner family who, for decades now, have been protagonists in the white circus, also in the World Cup and in major events such as the World Cup and the Olympics. Coach, manager, a true teacher and a family man who moved from San Carlos de Bariloche to Barzesto, a fraction of the municipality of Schilpario, creating that Simari Birkner Ski Team so recognizable in the circuit. Mario Simari put his children Cristian Javier, Macarena, Maria Belén and Angélica on skis, with a job of incredible passion and love, together with his wife Teresita Birkner. On Monday at 3 pm, as announced by the official channels of the Simari Birkner Ski Team (with the Argentine federation itself that has joined the condolences), there will be the funeral between the church of Barzesto, where there will be the funeral ceremony, and the Schilpario cemetery. Where the good soul of a special man for the world of skiing will rest.
