A serious bereavement upsets the winter sports family. At the age of 41, Manuel Pescollderungg, a native of Alta Badia, former alpine ski national who has boasted six appearances (all in slalom) at the World Cup level, and one series of placements in the top ten of the European Cup between 2004 and 2010. Married and father of two children, Manuel was a ski instructor at the Colfosco school, coach and federal instructor. President Flavio Roda, the Federal Council and the whole Federation, announcing his death, gather around the Pescollderungg family in these sad hours.
