The Goggi Ski Club and the national movement mourn a reference: Gherardo Noris has disappeared

The president of the Bergamo company left us at 94; a managerial career of the highest level, the condolences of the FISI.

A very important mourning for Italian Alpine skiing. Gherardo Noris left at 94, yesterday in Bergamo: engineer and great manager of winter sports for many decades, he was one of the reference figures for skiing in Bergamo, but throughout Lombardy and at national level. Since 1985, Noris was president of the Libertas Goggi Ski Club, one of the most important on the Italian scene. Scrolling through the list of athletes who have been part of this reality means reviewing the history and glory of Bergamo sport. We talk about Fausto Radici, Paola and Lara Magoni, Roberto Spampatti up to Sofia Goggia. Gherardo Noris practiced many sports: from athletics to swimming and cycling, from basketball to volleyball. He arrived at skiing when he was twenty, without excelling, but just enough to fall in love with it and make it his most important mission as a sports manager. To the point of deserving the gold badge of the Italian Winter Sports Federation. The President Flavio Roda and the whole FISI have clung to the Noris family in the past few hours in this moment of great sadness.
