Matteo Canins wins the second FIS slalom at Kronplatz: Haller and Perruchon on the podium behind Shkanova

The Japanese Koyama beaten by 2 cents, while the young Italians finished behind the Belarusian who signed an encore. In France, another giant podium for Bendotti.

Second consecutive day of FIS competitions in Kronplatz, for a new double slalom (now valid for the Thai national championships) with the men's challenge that saw Matteo Canins rejoice. According to yesterday, the 23 year old, author of a really good start to the season, burned the Japanese Yohei Koyama (already third in race-1) by just 2 cents, with the Spaniard Garay third at + 0 ”42. Fifth place for Tommaso Saccardi, tenth for Manuel Ploner. The second women's slalom in 24 hours awarded again the Belarusian Maria Shkanova, clearly ahead of Celina Haller, now second at 50 cents, just one better than Martina Perruchon, back on the podium after the 2nd place on Monday. Followed in the ranking by Lucrezia Lorenzi, fourth, and Beatrice Sola fifth, with Emilia Mondinelli tenth, Sara Allemand twelfth and Laura Steinmair thirteenth. In Val Cenis, in France, the second consecutive FIS giant and Matteo Bendotti takes another podium: third place, after the second of the first round, 25 cents from the Frenchman Charles Gamel Seigneur who preceded his compatriot Thomas Lardon. Fifth Pietro Canzio, eighth Tobias Kastlunger and fourteenth for the Friulian Luca Taranzano.
