Two important innovations at Rossignol, where a series of meetings with some of the great stars of the French brand were held in the last few hours, in terms of work on materials for leading athletes such as Petra Vlhova and Ramon Zenhaeusern. Let's start from the Slovak champion: as reported by "Ski Chrono", after the years with a largely Italian team, followed in the role of skiman first by Gigi Parravicini and then with Matteo Baldissarutti in a double role in the team renewed last year with the he arrival of Mauro Pini at the helm of “Team Vlhova”, the Olympic champion and winner of the slalom cup, will have Brice Bottollier as head of materials. We are talking about a technician who has already worked at very high levels, recently following Muzaton and Roger in the team of transalpine sprinters and, due to the unavailability of Mauro Sbardellotto at the start of the Beijing Games, alongside Federica Brignone for whom he prepared the ski to go to the conquest of silver in giant. In the next few days the first work on the track with Vlhova, which will start as usual on the snows of the Stelvio. Ramon Zenhaeusern also changes, returning from a very difficult season also due to physical problems, in particular for the shoulder problem that has conditioned him since the first races: the Swiss slalomist will have at his side an expert skiman like Philippe Petitjean, for over 30 years in Rossignol and who worked in the last season with Henrik Kristoffersen, not without difficulties related to the needs of the Norwegian ace who then chose to change everything, and then with Zan Kranjec brought up to Olympic silver in giant.
