FISI AOC
In Turin the election of the new course in the AOC house: awaiting the appointment of the vice presidents and technical managers, there is confidence for another four-year quality period.

The elective ordinary regional Assembly of the FISI Western Alps Committee was held in the conference room of the Piedmont CONI in Turin, during which - in the presence of the President of the FISI at national level, Flavio Roda, and the Vice-President Pietro Marocco - Pietro Blengini he was re-elected to the presidency of the regional committee, for which he was the only candidate.
Together with Blengini, the representatives of the companies affiliated with the AOC elected the seven “lay” councilors, the two athletes councilors, a technical councilor, the president and the members of the board of auditors. The elected lay Councilors are Gianluca Barale, Davide Borgogno, Davide Castoldi, Giancarlo Croce, Corrado Gamba, Roberto Saracco and Lorenzo Vettore.
In addition, the Athletes Councilors Simona Novara and Oriano Rigamonti, the Technical Councilor Alberto Venegoni, the President of the Board of Auditors, Renato Stradella, the members of the Board of Auditors Paolo Burlando and Valentina Moggio were also elected. Speaking during the Assembly, President Blengini illustrated the excellent results obtained in the last four years by the athletes of the regional alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, biathlon, snowboarding and ski mountaineering teams, many of whom have joined the ranks of national teams.
Blengini underlined the collaboration that the Ski Clubs have ensured to the managers and technicians of the Committee during the training and physical and technical preparation of the athletes. The re-elected President said he was confident that in the coming seasons the Committee will confirm the excellent results obtained in the last four years. The new AOC Council will now be called upon to choose from among its members the Vice-Presidents, the Secretary, the Counselors referring to the various disciplines. The technical commissions of the disciplines will subsequently be established and the respective technical managers will be appointed.
