First races in Chile, double for Lara Colturi on her debut at FIS level. Victory and podium for Pietro Tranchina

The competitive 2022/23 opened with the giants of El Colorado; double success for the Piedmontese who is now competing for Albania.

It is the snows of El Colorado, in Chile, that inaugurated the 2022/23 season, with four giants at the FIS level and the participation almost exclusively of local athletes, waiting to start the South American Cup. However, there was curiosity about Lara Colturi's senior debut, already in training in South America for a few days and therefore ready to begin her adventure under the Albanian flag. Of course, the competition was what it was, but in both rounds between the wide doors the Piedmontese born in 2006 had no problems in winning. In race-1, Colturi won (signing 28.50 pt FIS) with more than 6 seconds ahead of the Spanish Mirentxu Miquel and the Canadian Marie-Penelope Robinson, while in the encore Miquel herself paid 4 "28, with the '' another Iberian Borras Solsona to complete the podium. Also in the race was an Italian born in 2005, Giorgia Aime who finished respectively in 15th and 13th position. In the first male giant, the Italian success arrived with Pietro Tranchina, Piedmontese born in 2003, who regulated the Chileans Figueroa and Holscher by 37 and 38 cents. The latter won race-1, with 58 hundredths of a margin over his compatriot Figueroa and 1 ”14 over Tranchina, back on the podium.
