First tests for Dominik Paris at Mapei Sport: the collaboration between the center and the FISI continues

The collaboration between the FISI and the Mapei Sport research center continues, and proceeds with the utmost synergy and desire for common growth. The President Flavio Roda, the head of FISI athletic trainers, Roberto Manzoni, Dr. Claudio Pecci, health director of the center, and Ermanno Rampinini, research manager, met at the Olgiate Olona headquarters. In addition to the already high standards that Mapei Sport has ensured for eight seasons to FISI athletes, from this year there will be an implementation of the services: new tests for measuring athletic performance will be integrated, and the state of fitness will be measured. health from a preventive perspective, also carrying out symmetry and control tests. In addition, in addition to the two classic test sessions, at the beginning and end of the season, a session will also be organized during the competitive season to retrieve useful data for scientific research. "There is the intention to proceed with the development of the relationship between FISI and Mapei Sport - said President Roda - and to increasingly enhance the aspects of joint marketing, with a view to an indispensable collaboration for our athletes. ". We will then proceed to enhance the analysis of the data archived in the eight years of the agreement that have already passed. What emerged immediately was that the trends relating to injuries and the level of training are closely linked: in fact, the rate of accidents has dropped, while the overall value of training has risen. All this well explains how tests are essential to better target training plans for athletes. Just yesterday Dominik Paris made the first test session, who chose the day of the renewal for his post-season exam. An important testimonial and an athlete who is always very attentive to functional evaluations. In the meantime, the overall activity has been planned for which, by 10 June, all the athletes of the FISI national teams will pass through the Mapei Sport research center.
