A double charity auction, present on charitystars.com, launched by the Cortina 2021 Foundation to support the territory and in particular the Belluno Hospital.
Until Wednesday 22 April, for all fans there is the possibility to buy the memorabilia of the Ampezzo champions and beyond, with the "ambassadors" of the world championships in Cortina 2021, Kristian Ghedina and Sofia Goggia, in the front row also on this occasion. The legendary blue sprinter and the Olympic descent have deepened the themes of the initiative and not only, in connection with the president of the Cortina foundation, Alessandro Benetton, who underlined how the foundation itself "was designed to involve the territory trying to propose initiatives that lived up to this principle. The auction with the trophies of the finals that we have not been able to see on stage in Cortina, have already been used to buy assisted breathing machinery in favor of the Belluno Hospital ".
Over 12 thousand euros collected, then the idea of giving away the memorabilia of the athletes as well, as Kristian Ghedina (who chose a pair of practically ... new Lange boots) explains: "The initiative started with Alessandro and Sofia, it is necessary because we must not let our guard down even if things seem to be going better. The finals? A pity not to have played them, everything was perfect including weather and snow, but we soon understood that the problem was too serious to allow it to take place. I am convinced that the show will be guaranteed for the World Cup, the Cortina team is working very well ".
