Runggaldier on the podium of the super-g of Santa Caterina, Bendotti dominates the slalom in Val Casies

The results of today's FIS races: the Swiss talent Grob wins on "Deborah Compagnoni", the Val Gardena third (with Zenere seventh).

A high-profile super-g, the one staged today in Santa Caterina Valfurva, 24 hours after the women's downhill. The girls were the protagonists of the second FIS appointment in Valtellina, with the Swiss talent Stefanie Grob who beat the transalpine Karen Smadja Clement by 22 cents, but there is so much blue at the top with Teresa Runggaldier third ahead of Vittoria Cappellini, fourth, while behind the other French Esther Paslier (athlete who, like Smadja Clement, we often see in CdM) there are Laura Sellemond and Asja Zenere. In Val Casies appointment with the slalom: among the women Austrian double with Sarah Prantl who precedes her compatriot Maria Niederndorfer by 16 cents, while the Japanese Asa Ando closes third (+ 0”19), with the blue Laura Steinmair fifth. Instead, Italian domination among the men, with Matteo Bendotti from Bergamo who triumphs with 84 cents of margin compared to Corrado Barbera and the Spanish Garay, with Della Vite fourth at the foot of the podium and Di Paolo sixth. Tomorrow races bis, while only one FIS NJR giant took place in Courmayeur (with the women's race cancelled), with the boys protagonists and Pietro Bisello who won by just one cent over Jacques Belfrond, with another son of art like Lorenzo Gerosa third.
