In Soelden we will see a quality Scandinavian national team with the women's group, led by the Olympic champion and with young people who can do well, including the daughter of art. First in the maximum circuit also for the only man at the start, Johan Silfaelt.

A Sweden almost entirely in pink version, the one that will be the protagonist on Rettenbach in Soelden, for the opening weekend of the World Cup between Saturday 22nd, with the female giant, and Sunday 23rd with the men's test.
Five girls have been called up for the seasonal opening, and the hopes of achieving results are many, starting, above all, with that Sara Hector who closed an amazing year 2021/22 with the injury suffered in Are and the specialty cup lost on the wire, in the finals of Méribel in favor of Tessa Worley, but she made sparks with three victories and the Olympic title in Beijing 2022. In practice, until February the 30-year-old from Saendviken had "wrong" only the giant from Soelden , finishing 12th in the race that, in the past, saw her hit a couple of top ten (with 7th place in 2015 as the best result).
Alongside the reigning Olympic champion, here are Hilma Loevblom, Estelle Alphand, the very talented Hanna Aronsson Elfman and another born in 2002 that promises very well, the daughter of art Lisa Nyberg (heir to another splendid specialist of the giant, Fredrik) therefore ready for the absolute debut in the World Cup, after an excellent season between the European Cup and the results at the Junior World Championships, at the foot of the podium also in descent.
On the other hand, the men's sector has been suffering for some time and, without the presence of Mattias Roenngren, there will be only one representative to defend the yellow and blue colors, the 1996 class of Johan Silfaelt who, at 26, will have his first experience in the top circuit.
