He died today in his home in Milan, crippled by an incurable evil, Armando Trovati, for nearly 50 years as a photojournalist for international alpine skiing.

For nearly half a century, Trovati has told the White Circus first with his photos and then with his children, Alessandro and Marco, who entered Pentaphoto's paternal photography agency, where they got their reins when their dad retired for health reasons. Found was also fond of cycling, which obviously followed with his agency, and more recently he loved and practiced golf.
His most famous shot is probably the one that immortalizes the release of Ingemar Stenmark near the goal of the famous parallel of the Val Gardena of March 1975 won by Gustav Thöni who thanks to that triumph will forgo its fourth World Cup. He also published the "Tomb Effect" photographic book devoted to the career of the National Albertine.
The funerals will be held on Tuesday 8-11 at the church of Sant'Angela Merici, in via Cagliero, Milan. Armando Trovati's family, especially Alessandro and Marco, our adventure companions in World Cup and World Cup races, are our most sincere condolences.
