A spectacular World Cup start, in the Chinese context of the Secret Garden track which, next February, will host the great challenges of the Olympic Games.
The 2021/22 season of skicross started with the stamps of Sandra Naeslund and Sergey Ridzik, but there is also Italy in the top ten of a men's competition that saw Dominik Zuech sign a small and big company; the young man in the Druscié Ski Club has given himself a 10th place that is worth a lot, in a context of the highest level with the Russian able to beat the Canadian Brady Leman and the French Bastien Midol in the final, leaving the Austrian Rohrweck as well at the foot of the podium.
The women's test sanctioned the first great seasonal duel between Sandra Naeslund and Fanny Smith: the Swede prevailed against the Swiss, second ahead of Marielle Berger Sabbatel, who gives another podium to France, which will be the location of the next stage of CdM, the European premiere scheduled from 9 December in Val Thorens.
And on that occasion the season of the points of reference of the Italian national team will begin, with Simone Deromedis and Jole Galli, already winners in the European Cup (but Lucrezia Fantelli immediately returned to excellent levels), at the starting gate together with the companions of a growing group.
