Steen Olsen beats all the "greats" between slalom and giant: Norwegian championships concluded in Narvik

The 2001 class signed the double, just like at the recent World Championships jr, in the national review that saw almost all the Scandinavian big names on the track.

The Norwegian championships staged on the snows of Narvik and ended yesterday with the slalom, have essentially closed the block of national competitions at the end of the season. There was no shortage of surprises in the races that saw the participation of almost all the big names of the norge squadron of the World Cup: starting with the men's downhill, which saw Henrik Roea beat Aleksander Aamodt Kilde by 38 cents, while the women's race was dominated by Ragnhild Mowinckel, with more than a second margin on the young Inni Holm Wembstad, who made his debut in CdM at the end of February in Crans-Montana. With the super-g canceled, Wembstad herself won another silver in the combined, beaten by Pernille Lydersen, with Oscar Zimmer winning the same men's race in front of Roea. At the beginning of the week, the grand final with the technical races and two double goals: among the men, Alexander Steen Olsen confirmed an exceptional condition, he who dominated at the Junior World Championships in Panorama and then also amazed at the CdM finals in Méribel, winning both the giant, with the beauty of 1 ”69 on Henrik Kristoffersen (3rd place for Haugan, 4th McGrath), both the slalom with over a second margin against Haugan and Kristoffersen, while Foss-Solevaag concluded at the foot of the podium. One-two also for Mina Fuerst Holtmann: in giant, first place ahead of Mowinckel and Maarstoel, who then finished third again in slalom, while Kufaas nearly won, settling for second place just over a tenth from Holtmann.
