All the World Cup races (not only alpine skiing, but also cross-country skiing, jumping, snowboarding, skicross, freestyle and telemark) of the 2021/22 season on Swiss territory, will host audiences also from abroad, based on the rule of 3G (vaccinated, cured, tested) for access to the competition areas. In the case of the maximum ski circuit, we are talking about the women's appointment on 11-12 December in Sankt Moritz, the two men's weekends in January with the great classics of Wengen and Adelboden, with Crans-Montana and Lenzerheide who will host again between late February and early March the girls.
After the “desert” of 2020/21, villages will also be set up for fans such as the popular Doerfli in Wengen, as well as the VIP Hospitality around the finish area of the various World Cup locations. In addition, the return to public award ceremonies is expected.
The various organizers will soon launch the presale of tickets through their respective channels. "The 3G rule in use for a few weeks has proved to be valid in other major sports, so we are optimistic for the winter of 2021/22 - the words of Swiss-Ski's head of marketing, Hannes Hofer - We are happy to make it accessible again to the spectators our World Cup events; together with the organizers, we want to offer them fantastic experiences ”.
Swiss-Ski and the organizers of the various stages will remain in close contact with the national and cantonal authorities and, depending on the evolution of the pandemic in Switzerland, changes will be made for accessibility to the public.
