Wedding time in world alpine skiing. Wednesday came the news of the proposal, after a very long engagement (13 years), that Travis Ganong, veteran of the American descent team, to his Marie-Michèle Gagnon. Nice comment from the Canadian multipurpose, who received the ring in Zermatt, in the shadow of the Matterhorn where the two North American athletes are training. "It's been 13 years, but the stopwatch couldn't have worked better."
A shower of congratulations from colleagues, such as those received by Thomas Dressen, already married yesterday. For the German sprinter, still engaged in a long post-injury rehabilitation phase, there are days to return to skis, with an extra joy in his heart.
