As part of the initiative linked to staying at the Hotel Bella Vista (owned by the Thoeni family), on the day of the Republic Day there was a special ride along the 48 hairpin bends of the legend.

Both seventy years and a sporting career that has seen them protagonists of many victories at world level: Gustav Thoeni, skiing legend, and Francesco Moser, unforgettable cycling champion, yesterday on the day of the Republic Day 2758 meters of the Stelvio Pass, along the 48 mythical hairpin bends of a climb that two symbols of Italian sport have traveled on e-bikes and together with many enthusiasts, who over the course of two weeks (until 12 June) have the opportunity to take advantage of a package that allows them, staying at the Bella Vista Hotel in Trafoi, to live special sports experiences with Thoeni and Moser.
"We do this goal together, even if we have not exchanged the bottle like Coppi and Bartali - exclaimed the triumphant of three Paris-Roubaix and world champion in San Cristobal ''77, addressing the Avalanche Azzurra lighthouse winner of four Cups World, which in turn has replicated. “It doesn't matter, today we do battery swaps”, referring to the pedal assisted vehicle used to climb to the top of the Stelvio.
