Blue hat-trick in Val Casies with Barbera ahead of Di Paolo and Bendotti. Austria with Pfurtscheller among women

Today the last two FIS slaloms on the South Tyrolean snow: here's how they went.

Valentina Pfurtscheller won the women's slalom, hosted by the South Tyrolean town of Val Casies for a second consecutive appointment at FIS level. The 20-year-old Austrian – who had already made a name for herself this season with an eighth place in the European Cup slalom in Mayrhofen – set the clock on her time at 1''21”56, thus conquering her first career victory. Behind him, an excellent performance by the 18-year-old Silvia Belli from Cadore; the blue was able to recover 24 positions during the second heat, finishing 83 cents behind the leader of the day ex aequo with the other red and white Sophia Waldauf. Space in the top ten, in eighth place, for the blue Hannah Feichter. In Italy, among the top twenty, we also find Nora Pernstich 12th, Marie Laner 13th, Thea Holzner 18th and Virginia Costa 20th. Italian hat-trick in the men's race with the fifth career victory on the circuit – fourth in slalom – by Corrado Barbera, who dominated ahead of Gianlorenzo Di Paolo, distanced by 69 cents, and Matteo Bendotti, yesterday's winner, who finished third at +0 ”84. Sixth place for Manuel Ploner at 1”67, Jonas Bacher finished in eleventh position at 2”31. Just outside the top twenty, 22nd, Matteo Allasina with Andrea Bertoldini who went out during the second heat.
