The FIS gave the green light today for the Austrian cup races: women competing on Saturday 13 November, men the following day. Vlhova and Pinturault the winners of 2020.

For the second consecutive year, Lech / Zuers will host the only stage of the World Cup linked to the parallel, waiting to understand if in the next few years (after the Covid emergency that partly upset the calendars) there will be more appointments as the International Federation itself would like.
Today the official status of the FIS arrived, with the usual snow control which, after the fears existing until last week for the lack of snow in the Arlberg area, had already disappeared with the rains of these days that have made it much easier to prepare the Flexen Arena track.
Therefore, after the opening in Soelden, on Saturday 13 November with the women's parallel scheduled at 10.00 for the qualifying phase and at 17.00 for the finals with the direct elimination board (double heat up to the final, as consolidated format from last season), and Sunday 14 with the men's race. First phase always at 10.00 in the morning, final from 16.00.
Last year, the future winners of the absolute crystal ball, namely Petra Vlhova and Alexis Pinturault, prevailed in Lech / Zuers.
