Last days for the elites in Ushuaia, the multipurpose "gasses" and the sprinters arrive from La Parva

The program of the Azzurri in Argentina: Bassino, Brignone and Goggia towards the end of this preparation block, like Mikaela Shiffrin who put together a great job in Portillo. Innerhofer and companions reach Paris in Tierra del Fuego.

We work hard in Ushuaia, even in Italy for the last part of the long training camp on the Argentine snows. The conditions are optimal overseas and these are the last days of work for the elite female trio, with Marta Bassino, Federica Brignone and Sofia Goggia who will return to Italy before next weekend, after more than four weeks in Tierra del Fuego. On the other hand, Giovanni Feltrin's multipurpose machines will return on September 30th, arriving in Ushuaia a week later and which are also carrying out a complete preparation. During the week, there was already the competitive debut of the slalomists group, engaged in the South American Cup races a few days after arriving in Argentina. Just in these hours, the sprinters of the World Cup group also landed, who divided the work to be carried out in winter conditions in two: from a couple of weeks in La Parva, Chile, and from today until September 30 in Ushuaia, joining to Dominik Paris, already on the South American snow for over 25 days. Innerhofer, Buzzi, Marsaglia, Casse, Bosca, Schieder, Zazzi and Molteni will thus complete a very important block, which began at the end of August in Saas-Fee, when there is now less than a month and a half to go until the "Speed Opening" of Zermatt-Cervinia. . A week before, in Soelden, the opening of the World Cup for the giant players and so, from De Aliprandini to Vinatzer, who also won in SAC between the wide doors, it is time to return to Europe to then play the finishing from early October, finally in good condition on the alpine glaciers. Petra Vlhova and Mikaela Shiffrin will remain overseas for a few days. The Slovak slalom Olympic champion arrived in Ushuaia for almost two weeks, while the holder of the crystal ball is finishing her camp in Portillo. From Chile, the American champion called her work “super productive”, thanking the technicians and staff for their support, as well as the station for an incredible training.
