"Before the congress, Daniel and I had already contacted the athletes - explains the former Azzurri - receiving excellent feedback on concrete issues, even if the real work will now begin. We have a mailing list with about 150 names, but also whatsapp groups to keep in touch personally. On many topics the opinions between the same athletes are quite different, it is not easy to find a solution for everyone ".
In the immediate future, it emerged from the FIS congress in Croatia that "one of the major problems is that relating to the format of the parallel and its adaptation to the TV context, therefore the possibility of a ko run, or a round-trip run, the quantity of the athletes in the race, safety etc ". In this sense, Yule adds: "In addition to the parallel, the discussion on the starting order of the fast races is continuing (harshly criticized by his predecessor Hannes Reichelt, ed). We await the next decisions of the council, but there may be some changes already from next season â€.
The Swiss slalom player feels very involved in the activity, not easy to combine with his athletic career: "This is also why Verena's work, especially during the winter, will be crucial".
