It is the week of the absolute Italian championships, which will end in the weekend in Sestriere with the technical tests. Almost all the big blues were present.

With the first downhill test today on the snows of Bardonecchia, the 2022 tricolors of alpine skiing take off, with the Absolutes organized by the Piedmont Region and the two localities of Bardonecchia, in fact, and Sestriere with the grand finale at Colle nel next weekend.
From Paris to Marsaglia, from Innerhofer to Buzzi and Zazzi, there are practically all the sprinters of Alberto Ghidoni's team (injured apart, see Mattia Casse) to play for the Italian downhill title that will be awarded on Wednesday as the women's one, where on the track we will see the Delago sisters, Nadia and Nicol, the last competitive performance of Francesca Marsaglia and, among others, Karoline Pichler and Roberta Melesi who are finishing this season very well.
On Thursday in Bardonecchia there will then be super-g and men's combined, on Friday 25 the same program for the girls before the technical competitions on Saturday and Sunday in Sestriere.
The "Ferruccio Bosticco" of Jafferau will be the venue for the competition of three disciplines, starting with tomorrow's downhill runs, while the Sporting Club Sestrieres, with the patronage of the Municipality of Sestriere, will be in charge of organizing the event in program from 25 to 27 March on “Kandahar GA Agnelli ”, the historic Colle slope which has been the scene of countless World Cup races, the 1997 Sestriere World Championships and the 2006 Turin Olympics. The first day of competition in the Vialattea international ski area will be the men's giant, scheduled for Friday 25 March; the female giant will follow the next day and then the Absolute Italian Championships will end with the two slalom races on Sunday 27 March.
