After the happy experience of last year, the second edition of the "Vitalini Speed Contest" will be staged, the "race" for youngsters designed by Pietro Vitalini to coincide with the weekend of the white circus in Val Gardena.
As soon as the jet men have finished the CdM race, as many as 120 children will descend on the Saslong starting from Ciaslat to the arrival stage in Santa Cristina. By participating in the Vitalini Speed Contest, young people born in 2008 and 2009 can immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of the legendary Gardena descent and feel like the champions of the snow.
The winners will be the children who reach the maximum speed when passing between the exit of the Ciaslat and the finish line: "The particularity of this initiative is that the little ones can follow in the footsteps of their great idols - explain the project managers Manuela Perathoner , Alexander Rabanser and Horst Demetz - Thursday 19 December, at 17.00 at the Medal Plaza La Stua in Selva Gardena, the draw of the starting numbers will take place. The race will be broadcast on the big screen at the arrival stage, the winners will be awarded on the podium of the World Cup and will be the protagonists of the press conference in the media center. Before their big moment, the children will be able to follow the men's super-g live on the arrival stage; clubs interested in participating in the "Vitalini Speed Contest" with their young athletes born in 2008 and 2009, can contact the organization through Manuela Perathoner by December 15th.
