After a few days of uncertainty, the snow check gave a positive result despite the high temperatures. And the Croatians of Kostelic train on Sljeme.

A few more days to better prepare a track that, due to the high temperatures of the last ten days, still had several unknowns.
Until today the FIS had granted to the organizers of the Snow Queen Trophy in Zagreb to set up the race track that will host the now classic World Cup slalom, scheduled for Saturday 4 January 2020 for women and Sunday 5 for the male test.
The snow check has given a positive result and at the home of the Kostelic family the usual show will be staged with the women's race scheduled at 13 and 16.15, while the men will compete in the first race at the anomalous time of 14.15 and the second under the lights of the spotlight, with start at 17.40.
Ivica Kostelic himself congratulated the organizers and the managers of the Sljeme Ski Resort, since on the hill above the Croatian capital it was far from easy to prepare a World Cup slope in these conditions. "Despite the heat, they managed to prepare an excellent coat - the winner of the 2010/11 crystal ball said - The Croatian national team is already training on Sljeme, it will be a great show".
