Lele Buzzi, a closing with a smile and the desire to leave again: "I changed my mental approach"

VIDEO - Our interview with the sprinter from Sappada, who trained on his home snow at Monte Zoncolan. "I changed course too late, but it is a great opportunity to be able to work until late spring".

A difficult season, until that flash represented by the 13th place in the world championship super-g in Cortina, followed by the first tricolor of his career with the victory in the test valid for the Italian title in Santa Caterina Valfurva. Emanuele Buzzi closed the 2020/21 vintage with a smile, but he certainly expects much more from the Olympic one, fundamental for the future of the Sappada sprinter who, in recent days, has been able to train practically on the snow at home, together to his team mates at Monte Zoncolan. In the interview with Alessandro Genuzio, Lele spoke of the “excellent conditions for dedicating ourselves to the work we had foreseen. It is very important to prolong spring training as much as possible, especially on salty snow ”. The balance of the 26-year-old from Sappada is clear: “I managed to reverse the course too late, when I changed the mental approach that conditioned me for the rest of the season. Now let's think about the next one, but first I hope to be able to spend a few days at the beach ”. With his girlfriend Irene Curtoni, “who will certainly take a period now to break away from what his life has been for so long. It will be nice to have her by my side as the first fan ”.
