The story of Ingrid, Austrian champion of grass skiing who dominated a decade in the early 2000s and retired with 43 world medals around the neck

The surname is an almost prophetic call, but we are talking about a character that probably few know.
If Marcel Hirscher has rewritten the history of alpine skiing and sports in general, winning the World Cup 8 times in a row (and who knows, maybe it didn't end there ...), another Austrian skier made a similar record, to the beginning of the new millennium.
We are talking about Ingrid Hirschhofer, born in '63 native Schwarzensee, a town not too far from Vienna, which in the course of an incredible career spanning 37 years, has conquered 8 crystal balls one behind the other in skiing '' female grass, from 2002 to 2009, concluding among others the second in the general for the two vintages prior to the first success and respectively third and second in the next two (2010 and 2011). All seasoned with the beauty of 43 world medals with 22 golds, 16 European champion titles and even 95 in the Austrian championships.
